Client management
Before running Telstra services on the nbn network Internetrix found it difficult to provide a full suite of services to businesses outside its local region, including client training. Prior to using the nbn network, training had to be performed on-site, incurring travel and accommodation costs. “We certainly would not be able to provide the type of services we do to our broad customer base,” says David.
The directors had no interest in moving Internetrix’s headquarters from Wollongong up to Sydney or another large city to more easily access broadband connections. “We are an Illawarra-based company and we are passionate about growth in the region from an innovation, as well as a technology, point of view. We want to help lead the region into 2020 and beyond,” David adds.
Online training
Running Telstra services on the nbn™ network is enabling Internetrix to transform the way it provides training to clients. Since the nbn network switch, Internetrix could deliver online training through webinars to its customers. This has helped reduce travel and accommodation costs, and opened up new national and global opportunities for the business – all from a regional New South Wales town nestled between the mountains and the beach.
The company is extremely excited about the medium-and-longer-term opportunities presented by Telstra on the nbn network. The exciting part about Telstra on the nbn network and its connection with Internetrix is that the industry is growing and changing “With reliable nbn broadband there is no limit to what we can do in the future,” says David.
